Phoenix Labs

Phoenix Labs, the Vancouver-based developer behind Dauntless, tasked our team with creating an animated brand mnemonic ahead of their new title, Fae Farm. The goal was to design an evergreen logo reveal that captured their identity and values across all games.

I contributed to the visual R&D, design, and animation, exploring the symbolism of the flame—from the phoenix’s rise to the warmth of a shared campfire. Through 2D cel animation and 3D procedural techniques, we crafted a reveal that balanced tactility with subtle grandeur. We partnered with Yessian to develop a signature sound cue, completing a distinctive brand identity for Phoenix Labs.
