I was involved in Invictus 2953 from ideation to final execution, shaping the project’s visual direction and ensuring a seamless blend of artistry and storytelling. Working closely with the creative team, I helped develop, design, and animate a cinematic piece that used a unique mix of three art mediums—dry brush, spray paint, and watercolor.
Based on the script, the piece follows a rooftop artist creating a mural, illustrating moments of military life, adventure, and unity in the Star Citizen universe. My role spanned concept development, style frame design, storyboarding, and animation, ensuring each transition between mediums felt organic while reinforcing the narrative’s emotional beats. From early visual R&D to the final execution, I played a key role in crafting an evocative and stylistically diverse motion piece that brought the world of Invictus Launch Week 2953 to life.
